A leading socio-political support group in Delta State, Deltans Want More, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, on the occasion of his third anniversary in office and his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial flag bearer for the 2027 governorship election.
The group described Governor Oborevwori’s emergence as the APC standard bearer as a clear testament to the overwhelming confidence, trust, and acceptance he continues to enjoy among party faithful, political stakeholders, and the people of Delta State.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Director General of the Delta State Local Content Agency, Olorogun Kakor Stanley Ese, on behalf of Deltans Want More, the group commended the governor for his purposeful, visionary, and people-centred leadership, which it noted has brought remarkable transformation across the state within just three years in office.
According to the statement, the Oborevwori administration has recorded significant milestones under the MORE Agenda, with visible developmental strides across critical sectors of the state economy.
The group particularly highlighted achievements in education, healthcare delivery, road infrastructure, construction of strategic flyovers, youth and women empowerment, agriculture, human capital development, job creation, workers’ welfare, peace and security, as well as the prompt implementation of the new minimum wage.
It further applauded the administration for the settlement of pension arrears and its unwavering commitment to inclusive governance, economic growth, and sustainable development across the state.
“Your inclusive style of governance, accessibility to the people, and unwavering commitment to sustainable development have further endeared you to millions of Deltans across political, ethnic, and religious divides,” the statement read.
The group also called on all well-meaning Deltans, irrespective of political affiliation, to unite in support of Governor Oborevwori’s “Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda” as he prepares for a second term in office.
Expressing strong confidence in the governor’s re-election prospects, the group stated that his administration’s impressive performance and grassroots connection would undoubtedly earn him overwhelming support across the state in the 2027 governorship election.
“We are confident that Deltans will once again entrust you with the mandate to consolidate on the remarkable achievements already recorded and to continue delivering purposeful governance for the prosperity of all,” the statement added.
The group concluded by offering prayers for greater wisdom, strength, and divine guidance for the governor as he continues to steer the affairs of Delta State toward greater progress and development.
Reaffirming its unwavering support, the group declared: “We Want MORE. Deltans Want MORE. MORE Agenda Till 2031.”
