The Coordinator of the Benin River Vanguard for APC in Delta State, Hon. Anthony Okotie, has declared the group’s total commitment to the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, in the 2027 general elections, assuring that no effort would be spared in securing victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidates.
Okotie made the declaration yesterday at the APC 2027 campaign flag-off held in Oleh, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, where he reaffirmed the determination of his political platform to strengthen the party’s structures and expand its grassroots support across the state.
The former Member of the Delta State Post-Primary Education Board and prominent APC chieftain in Warri North Local Government Area described the 2027 political project as a collective assignment requiring dedication, sacrifice, strategic coordination and unwavering loyalty from all party stakeholders.
He declared that the Benin River Vanguard was prepared to commit its time, energy, resources and political influence towards ensuring the successful re-election of President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori, as well as the emergence of other APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.
According to him, the group has already intensified efforts towards building a formidable grassroots mobilisation network, with strategic political engagements and consultations aimed at strengthening the APC’s presence across the Benin River axis of Delta State.

Okotie expressed optimism that the ongoing political realignment would significantly transform the electoral fortunes of the party, paving the way for the successful actualisation of the APC 5/5 agenda in the area.
He noted that the Benin River Vanguard was determined to move beyond political declarations by translating its support into practical mobilisation, community engagement and sustained grassroots activities capable of delivering electoral dividends for the party.
The renowned philanthropist and widely recognised grassroots mobilisation advocate emphasised that the group would continue to engage political stakeholders, community leaders, youths, women and other influential segments of society to consolidate support for the APC.
He maintained that the political landscape in the Benin River axis was witnessing a significant process of alignment, expressing confidence that the emerging momentum would strengthen the party’s chances in the 2027 elections.
Okotie further stressed that the group would not relent in its mobilisation drive, adding that its commitment to the APC project remained firm and uncompromising.
He called on party faithful, supporters and political associates across Delta State to embrace unity, demonstrate loyalty to the party and work collectively towards the success of all APC candidates.
The APC stalwart reiterated that the Benin River Vanguard would sustain its mobilisation activities across communities in the riverine areas, insisting that its members were prepared to make the necessary sacrifices to ensure victory for President Tinubu, Governor Oborevwori and other candidates of the party.
He declared that the group would not rest on its oars until its political objectives were achieved at the polls, expressing confidence in the ability of a united and well-organised APC to secure a convincing electoral victory.
Okotie’s declaration at the Oleh event highlights his determination to strengthen the APC’s grassroots mobilisation machinery in Delta State and underscores the growing efforts of party stakeholders to consolidate political support ahead of the 2027 general elections.
For the Benin River Vanguard, the commitment is unequivocal: to deploy its organisational capacity, grassroots connections and available resources towards advancing the APC 5/5 agenda and working for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and the emergence of other APC candidates in 2027.
