Sir Chinyeaka Christian Ohaa, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) gubernatorial candidate in Enugu State, has expressed support for former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, during the NDC Enugu town hall meeting describing his vision for leadership as one that aligns with the need for purposeful governance, accountability and national development.
Ohaa, while reiterating his commitment to a new direction for Enugu State, stressed that the future of the state requires visionary leadership, courage and practical solutions capable of improving the living conditions of the people.
He noted that Enugu deserves a government that prioritises the welfare of its citizens through sustainable economic policies, job creation, infrastructural development, quality healthcare and improved educational opportunities.
The NDC candidate maintained that responsible leadership must go beyond political promises to deliver measurable results, create opportunities for young people and revive the state’s economic potential.
He further emphasised the importance of people-centred governance, transparency and accountability in building public confidence and ensuring that government resources translate into tangible benefits for the people.
Ohaa’s position, he said, reflects a broader aspiration for a prosperous Enugu State and a better Nigeria, where leadership is driven by service, integrity and the collective interest of the people.
