NBM of Africa Worldwide has issued a strong statement distancing itself from allegations of criminality and unlawful activities, while reaffirming its identity as a lawful organization committed to human rights, discipline, and global peace.
In a press release signed by its President, Charles Chimezie, the group described itself as an organization founded on principles of integrity, justice, Black solidarity, and cultural advancement. It stressed that its operations align with international human rights standards and are devoid of discrimination based on race, religion, gender, or social status.
The organization also addressed controversies surrounding its identity and symbolism, clarifying that its official logo does not represent violence or criminality. It warned against the misuse of its emblem and rejected any association with the name “Black Axe,” stating that such claims are false and misleading. According to the statement, its authentic logo is trademarked and should not be confused with imagery circulating in what it termed inaccurate reports.
NBM of Africa Worldwide further alleged that misinformation has contributed to what it described as wrongful profiling and unlawful arrests of some of its members, particularly in connection with reports involving Bavarian police authorities in Germany. The group disclosed that it has initiated legal proceedings against the Bavarian Police and the German government over alleged defamation, noting that the matter is currently before a court in Germany.
It added that similar legal actions are being considered against authorities in Switzerland and the European law enforcement agency, Europol, accusing them of actions it described as discriminatory and damaging to its reputation.
Reiterating its stance against criminality, the organization emphasized that any member found engaging in illegal activities, including fraud or violence, would face strict disciplinary measures such as suspension or expulsion, alongside possible prosecution by relevant authorities.
The group called on global security agencies to ensure that investigations are evidence-based and that individuals found guilty of crimes are prosecuted accordingly, without attributing such acts to the organization as a whole.
NBM of Africa Worldwide maintained that it remains committed to upholding its values of accountability, justice, and service to humanity, pledging to defend its integrity through lawful means.
