Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has called on leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delt
a State to mobilize strong grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the party’s presidential primary election scheduled to hold nationwide on today Saturday.
Speaking shortly before the primary election, Oborevwori urged party stakeholders to work collectively to ensure an overwhelming vote for Tinubu during the primary. He emphasized that unity and mobilization among APC members would be crucial to delivering a decisive outcome for the president.
According to the Governor, party leaders, grassroots mobilizers, and political stakeholders must intensify efforts across communities in the state, adding that strong voters turn out during the primary would demonstrate Delta State’s commitment to advancing the renewed hope for More Agenda mantra.
As part of his mobilization drive, Oborevwori recently met with prominent APC figures in the state, including founding leader Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, during a visit to his residence in Evwreni, Ughelli South Local Government Area, where he. appealed to party elders and political influencers to rally their supporters and strengthen the party’s structure ahead of the primary election.
Emphasizing on grassroots mobilization, Oborevwori charged local party executives, ward leaders, and community coordinators to actively engage voters and supporters, noting that a well-organized mobilization effort would guarantee a resounding endorsement of President Tinubu within the state.
With the primary election approaching and considering the controversy surrounding the results of the just concluded National Assembly primaries, political attention in Delta State is increasingly focused on how effectively party leaders can mobilize supporters in one front and deliver votes in favor of President Tinubu.
