The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Warri South Constituency II in the Delta State House of Assembly election, Hon. (Chief) Benson Obire, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, on their successful emergence as candidates of the party in the recently concluded APC presidential and governorship primaries.
Chief Obire described the victories as a reflection of the confidence reposed in both leaders by party members and Nigerians, noting that their emergence was a reward for purposeful leadership and impactful governance.
Speaking on Governor Oborevwori’s victory, the lawmaker said the outcome of the governorship primary was expected, considering the governor’s growing acceptance and achievements across Delta State.
According to him, the overwhelming support received by Governor Oborevwori from APC members across the 25 local government areas of the state demonstrates the trust and admiration Deltans have for his administration.
He praised the governor for what he termed outstanding leadership and visible developmental projects spread across the state.
“Governor Oborevwori has shown exemplary leadership through his people-oriented policies and remarkable developmental strides. His performance continues to attract commendation from across the state,” Obire stated.
On President Tinubu’s affirmation as the APC presidential candidate for the 2027 elections, Obire said the development was a strong endorsement of the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the economic reforms initiated by his administration.
He noted that President Tinubu has taken bold steps toward repositioning Nigeria’s economy and creating an enabling environment for investment and national growth.
“The President has demonstrated courage and commitment in transforming the nation’s economy. His policies are already yielding positive results, and there is no doubt that continuity will further strengthen the progress achieved so far,” he said.
Chief Obire further pledged his total loyalty and support to President Tinubu, Governor Oborevwori, and the APC, assuring that his constituents and supporters are fully prepared to mobilize for the success of all party candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
He also prayed for God’s wisdom, guidance, and protection upon the President and the Delta State governor as they continue to provide leadership for the country and the state.
