The Special Adviser to the Governor of Delta State, Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, on Infrastructure, Chief Nat Igbadi, has congratulated former Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, on his emergence as the winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Delta North Senatorial Primary Election.
In a congratulatory message, Chief Igbadi described Senator Okowa’s victory as well-deserved, attributing it to his outstanding record of service and impressive achievements during his two terms as Governor of Delta State.
According to him, Senator Okowa’s administration left a lasting legacy of development, growth, and inclusive governance that continues to impact positively across the three senatorial districts of the state.
Chief Igbadi noted that the overwhelming support received by Senator Okowa during the primary election reflects the confidence party members and stakeholders have in his leadership capacity, experience, and commitment to the progress of Delta State and its people.
He expressed optimism that Senator Okowa’s wealth of experience and dedication to public service would further enhance effective representation and attract more developmental opportunities to Delta North Senatorial District.
The Infrastructure Adviser also prayed for God’s guidance, wisdom, and grace upon Senator Okowa as he prepares for the 2027 general elections, expressing confidence in his ability to secure a resounding victory at the polls.
Chief Igbadi further appealed to the people of Delta North Senatorial District to rally behind Senator Okowa and support his candidacy, stressing that his election would translate into greater development, empowerment opportunities for youths and women, and enhanced representation for the district.
“Senator Okowa has consistently demonstrated visionary leadership and a passion for the welfare of the people. Supporting him is supporting continued development, progress, and prosperity for Delta North,” he stated.
